Great time! Staff and Brad Steward were outstanding, always willing to do all they could. We had lots of rain, but were supplied with excellent rain gear. Guides were excellent. I wish I were back there This lodge provided a high-quality experience for my dad and me. We were warmly welcomed as we arrived, and we were treated extremely well throughout our experience. The food was great, and the fishing guides, both fresh- and salt-water, were excellent. All employees seemed truly interested in making the week a memorable experience for us. The lodge has all kinds of activities on top of fishing; we were able to go kayaking in the ocean and we took a trip to see ancient totem poles. Prince of Whales Island is beautiful. Great way to spend a week. Really therapeutic. Loved it! One of the best experiences of my life! The staff and accommodations were incredible! Fishing was by far the best I had ever experienced!! I was able to catch tons of huge fish to take home for me and my family and created wonderful memories that will last a life time. I would highly recommend this lodge to anyone looking for 5-star accommodations/services and by far some of the best fishing in Alaska! You won't be disappointed. Wow! If you're looking for a fun, wonderful, exciting vacation this is the place. The resort is right off the ocean, along Southeast Alaska's Inside Passage, and borders a breathtaking forest, with plenty of wildlife. Go out on the boat and have a great time fishing for salmon, halibut, rock fish and more. The guides know right where to go for the best fishing, whether rain or shine. They set a delicious "buffet' and you pack your lunch for the afternoon. The accomodations are great. This was definitely a bucket list destination for us, and I highly recommend it. Every time I have been to this lodge I have had a great experience. The food has been excellent. The accommodations were fantastic. The staff has always been helpful. And the fishing was the best I have ever experienced. I plan on visiting this lodge again in the near future.
